Create in me a clean heart oh God
And renew a right spirit in me.
Putting off my old self by the retraining of my mind
And putting on the new self which I find In Christ Jesus.
Your ways are higher than my ways
Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.
My best laid plans pale in the light of the glorious path you laid before me while you still formed me in my mother’s womb
In order that I might do the works you created me to do all for your glory and for my joy.
Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Help me to walk in your light
Step by step
Moment by moment
Knowing that you fully love me
And that you hold me by my right hand
While sheltering me beneath the shadow of your wing.
