Is there any Biblical proof of the existence of God? That’s a great question. Let’s see what the Bible has to say.

The Bible Does Not Try to Prove that God Exists

It’s Assumed

The Bible doesn’t try to prove God exists; it assumes it! The first verse of the Bible assumes the readers know from creation that the Creator God exists”In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).

It’s Declared

The created world is too organized to exist from random forces. Its preparation declares its Maker:
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).

The following are a couple of examples:
The distance the Earth is from the sun allows for human life.
The moon’s distance from the Earth regarding the sun allows the moon to block the sun and fit within it during solar eclipses.

People Must Suppress the Truth to Deny the Creator God’s Existence

It’s Apparent

People must suppress the truth to deny the Creator God’s existence. God holds us responsible when we lie to ourselves. Even God’s unseen attributes are apparent to any honest observer. In this passage, the Apostle Paul specifies God’s eternal power and deity:
“(People) suppress the truth through unrighteousness. For what may be known about God is clear to them since God has shown it to them. The invisible things about Him—His eternal power and deity—have been clearly seen since the creation of the world and are understood by the things that are made, so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:18-20).

The Bible Says Deniers of God are Fools

Deniers are Fools

Only the fools can tell themselves, ‘There is no God.’
“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).

Deniers are Duped

Supposed scientists (falsely so-called) have duped the people who accept their denials. The Apostle Paul warned his son-in-the-faith Timothy against these ‘experts’:
“Avoid profane babblings and opposing views from so-called knowledge” (1 Timothy 6:20).

God looks down upon us and finds the truth seeker:
“The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. They all turn aside, together they become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one” (Psalm 14:2-4).

Deniers are Blinded

People have help turning away from the truths about God. Satan plays a significant role by offering alternative theories that explain what is otherwise clear:
“The god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

What Saves Us?

But knowing that God exists doesn’t save us. Someone must first acknowledge that God exists before they can have faith and believe the gospel. What is the Gospel?
“By faith we understand that the universe was framed by the word of God, so that things that are seen were not made out of things which are visible” (Hebrews 11:3).

The Prayer of Salvation

Jesus, I don't know You, and I don't know what Your plan is for me. But thank you for coming to die in my place. I'm sorry for anything I've ever done wrong in my life. I don't understand how You could ever forgive me, but if You really would, I would like to accept your free gift of grace and complete forgiveness. Please come into my life and take control, and help me trust You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
