What is the source of hope during a crisis?

In the human heart is planted a seed of life and of hope that manifests itself in the times of flourish and the time of famine. That seed is the seed of Hope and Purpose. It is the seed that motivates us to excel, to contribute, and to rise above the mire of darkness.  It truly is the gift of purpose and hope. Jesus is our answer to finding hope and purpose during the Pandemic and hard times in which we are living. Today we can find out how to find hope in every situation.

In the Bible, Hope is expressed as the confident expectation of what God has promised with its strength being in His faithfulness.

What does the Bible say about hope?

“Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand”

Ephesians 2:10

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Jeremiah 29:11

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand”
Proverbs 19:21

“According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
I Peter

What is the definition of Hope?

Hope is a vision of things meant to be, the promise of things to be, and the finding of our purpose in that concept.

It is humbling to realize that God seeks to edify, to teach and to encourage humankind, in order that His purpose in our lives can be fulfilled.  Edifying can be defined as to instruct someone in a way that enlightens them or uplifts them morally, spiritually, or intellectually. How emboldened we feel for tomorrow when we embrace this truism.

With hope, we find purpose. With purpose, we acknowledge hope. Our goals become loftier, our doubts become smaller, and our vision becomes clearer. “There is Hope”, we cry as we surge forward with purpose and power.

How can I help others have hope in their lives?

With hope, we are energized mentally, physically, and spiritually. The strength is indescribable. The difference between being hopeful and feeling hopeless is akin to a day and night, light and darkness, or joy and sorrow.

God planted the seed of hope in us. Let me not put out the flame, but rather, through truth and enlightenment, fan it into a blazening banner of Hope that leads us to fulfilling the purpose that God has placed us on this earth to accomplish.

If the presence of hope in your life is very dim and you see little purpose or have no direction in your life, and yet you are still seeking something to transform your thinking, allow God to come into your life and give you hope.  Let him help you be the hope to your family and friends. Let him make your life different.  He will give you life and give it abundantly. Take the step.

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand” Proverbs 19:21

“According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” I Peter

How can I help others have hope in their lives?

Look for truth in all things. Make friends with persons and become involved in groups that are based on truth and hope, with those who are doing things that benefit the masses as well as the individuals. Become involved with them and share the hope.

The ambience of interaction with people of hope is in direct contradiction to that of the negativity of the world.

One does not have to go far to find the hopeless.

Some have withdrawn into a stage of deep depression or have resigned themselves to living a dull and lackluster type existence. Others with no hope are filled with hate and, in their despair, strike out at society in harmful and unproductive ways.

Make a difference in the lives of these hopeless. No matter your age, sex, education, income, or status in life, you can make a positive difference. Volunteer at a non-profit, involve yourself in a group at a local church, or join a group from your workforce to benefit the community.  Every improvement increases the satisfaction that is found in making a difference, in serving others and thus benefiting society.

We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2.

What is another word for hope?

Another word for hope is Jesus. He is the hope of the world. You may be thinking that this sounds good, but where do I get that hope in the first place? Can I earn it?  Can I buy it? Where?  Where?  I want to know this source of Hope. Jesus is our answer to finding hope and purpose during the Pandemic and hard times in which we are living. When I need hope in my life my hope is in You Jesus!

This is the great part!

“According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ”

It is only through His grace that we can freely receive the power to live a life of hope but also find forgiveness of our sins.  (see video)

The forces of this world, the negatives from that with which the world seduces us, the emptiness in the hearts of those dedicated to this world, combine to do nothing to encourage us or give us hope.

How to have a relationship with Jesus

It is worth your every effort to find truth in Jesus Christ, unite with a group of believers and make time to learn of Him and His promises. He promises that we can have hope and purpose and know the deep-seated joy of belonging to God through a relationship with Jesus.  He is our answer to finding hope and purpose during the Pandemic and hard times in which we are living.

When our burdens, our cares, and our concerns about life after death are all satisfied, we can devote our time and efforts to serving the one we know – the one who gives us a promise of eternal hope, as well as the strength to live a life here on earth filled with hope and purpose.

Jesus is our answer to finding hope and purpose during the Pandemic and hard times in which we are living.

Whatever a person’s status here on earth, we all have the same basic need: to find peace with God, our creator. It is through that relationship that we find purpose and meaning in this life and security in the world to come.

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills– where does my help come from?

My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalm 1

There is joy and happiness to be found in this world. Seek it, find it, embrace it, and enjoy it!

I have called you by name; you are Mine! (says the Lord).” Isaiah 43.

This scripture is for all who believe in the redeeming work of Jesus on the cross.  You too can have the confidence of this scripture.  Because the one who created you knows your name, says you are mine, and has redeemed you. You belong to God.

When he redeemed you by paying the price of your sins on the cross, he purchased you. Believe him. Trust him. Now you are valuable because of to whom you belong.

But what is my purpose in life?

God promises to always be with you. Summing it all up, a believer in Christ will always have a purpose and a hope and be of great value. Open your heart and mind to identifying your own purpose. You are valuable. You are not alone. Accept this gift of grace and live a life of hope and purpose. This article is about finding hope and purpose during the Pandemic and hard times in which we are living.
