Jada is a 27-year-old that grew up in the suburbs, surrounded by a loving, successful family. She seemed to be in a prime position for a happy, fulfilling life — to an outside observer.

But sometime in her mid-twenties, depression and anxiety teamed up against her, settling in for the long haul. As she battled both for years, she eventually became unable to leave her house for weeks at a time, some days unable to even get out of bed. Then the pandemic came along, which only escalated the problem that much more.

One day post-pandemic, lying in her bed (once again), watching YouTube videos on her phone, she started searching online for possible help with her anxiety and depression problems. She stumbled onto an article from Cuurio written by someone who seemed to understand exactly what she was going through and offered some practical help and spiritual guidance.

As she absorbed the words that appeared to be written specifically for her, she noticed an opportunity to connect with someone in person. She filled out a quick form and submitted that she was dealing with depression and anxiety. The form was immediately sent to the team liaison for Cuurio’s C.A.R.E. program — a free service for anyone looking for help.

After a preliminary interview, she was connected with one of Cuurio’s C.A.R.E. Coaches, and it was in the following weeks that Jada’s life took a dramatic turn. Through those free virtual sessions, she started seeing that there really was hope for her life, and started feeling like it might even be attainable.

Over the next few weeks, Jada got out of bed, out of her house, started attending a local church, joined a small group there, and applied for several jobs – something entirely unimaginable just a few weeks before!

At the time of this writing, Jada is excited about not only landing one of those jobs, but also learning how to help others who find themselves stuck in the same downward spiral that she was in for so long. For the first time in years, she is excited about the possibilities of living. Her life has been radically changed by the unmatched power of God and the help she received from Cuurio.
