What are the Judgments in the Bible? What a great question! The Bible mentions various judgments. God is a God of justice and the Lord Jesus is the Judge of all the earth.

Past Judgments

There have been judgments in the past like Adam and Eve’s, the antediluvian world’s, and the Tower of Babel’s. The judgment of Egypt and their gods and the judgment of believers’ sins are also noteworthy.

Future Judgments

In the present church age, there is self-evaluation and divine discipline. There are also judgments to occur in the future such as the judgments of the tribulation period, the judgment seat of Christ, the judgment of the nations, and the judgment of angels. These judgments reflect God’s wrath against sin and His love for His people.

Paul Says that Christians will Judge Angels

We aren’t exactly sure what this means, but the angels facing judgment may be the fallen angels who followed Satan in his rebellion against God. Christians will have a role in judging them, although it’s not clear exactly how.

The Judgment of Satan (Revelation 20:10)

After the Millennial Kingdom, Satan will be released for a short time and will gather an army to fight against Christ.

However, Satan will be defeated, and he and his followers will be thrown into the lake of fire, where they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. This is the final judgment against the enemy of God and His people.

The Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11–15)

This is the final judgment of all those who have rejected God’s offer of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Unbelievers will face this judgment.

At this judgment, the dead will be raised and judged according to their works. No unbeliever will be able to escape this judgment, and those whose names are not found in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire.

The Judgments in the Bible are a reminder of God’s justice and His intolerance for sin

Some of these judgments have already occurred, while others are yet to come.

As Christians, we can take comfort in the fact that Jesus has taken the judgment for our sins upon Himself, and we will not face condemnation if we are in Him.

However, we should also remember that we will still be judged for our works as believers, and that there is a final judgment for all those who reject Christ.

To become a believer you must believe in the name of Jesus. Watch the GREAT NEWS FOR YOU Video on this page to find out how you can do this.

The Prayer of Salvation

Jesus, I don't know You, and I don't know what Your plan is for me. But thank you for coming to die in my place. I'm sorry for anything I've ever done wrong in my life. I don't understand how You could ever forgive me, but if You really would, I would like to accept your free gift of grace and complete forgiveness. Please come into my life and take control, and help me trust You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
