My sweet daddy used to tell me I was going to “what if” myself to death. We didn’t really have a fancy title for excessive worry. Now it might diagnosed as generalized anxiety disorder. I would often be paralyzed from making a choice or a decision for the what ifs’. What if I get in an accident on the way? What if something happens to my family while I’m away? What if this turns out to be something I don’t really enjoy? What if i accidentally hurt someone’s feelings? The list went on and on. So what do you do when you worry too much? How do you keep fear at bay? I have learned to totally trust God. After all, He is the one who is in control. If you would like to learn how to put your faith in Jesus Christ and give all of your worries to Him, I invite you to watch the free gift video above and below this article.
I would love to share with you three pictures from my dad’s handwritten notes from a sermon he preached when I was a little girl. I was blessed with a beautiful earthly father who introduced me to my gracious heavenly Father. I would love to share a bit of his grace and wisdom concerning worry.
