I was asking myself what is the point in trying so hard? Why should I keep on keeping on with blog after blog? Couldn’t I choose the easy road, collect my things and enjoy my life? Would it make any difference if I just gave up? Does it make sense to continue expending so much energy on something that might not ever matter? Do I even have anything to say that would matter to you? Can I offer any advice that can change things for you in a positive way? Am I a voice of hope or just empty noise? What possible reason keeps me typing away? What is the point of going on? Is this part of my purpose in life?
I keep asking myself these questions because self-doubt sets in. That little voice that tells me this is pointless. But I won’t listen to that voice because I am convinced of this one thing. Of this one thing I am completely convinced.
The Point is You
The point is you. You are why I am keeping on. You are why we are here, together, at this moment in time. You are the one that needs to know that God loves you. He sees you. He has heard your cries for help and he cares. Your Heavenly Father longs to give you good gifts. He is calling your name and waiting for you to come home.
Whether you believe it or not, God made you. God loves you without condition. Unconditional love. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! That means it is a love that is freely given. It does not depend on you. It only depends on the great love and mercy of God. He is your loving father that offers you forgiveness. He longs to have a relationship with you. He has planned a special purpose for your life. He has provided a way for you to be forgiven of all of your sin.
Forgiven for ALL of Your Sin.
Anything you have ever done or will ever do or think that isn’t right. Because God the Father loves you so much, he gave his only perfect son. His name is Jesus, and he loves you the same. He loves you the same because he is also God! Isn’t that something? God himself came down earth to show us how to live. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, came to live a perfect, sinless life so that he could become the perfect sacrifice to pay for all of our sins. Yours and mine. He died for every person that has or will ever live. He came to pay the price so that you and I can be redeemed. You can live with joy and hope. You can be assured of eternal life in Heaven with God.
Who is God?
God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When you ask God to forgive you and invite Jesus to become your Lord and Savior, you will receive the Holy Spirit. He will teach you and help you understand the Bible, which is the word of God.
How to be Saved
Your salvation comes by believing that Jesus is God’s only son, that he died for your sins and rose again 3 days later, and that he is the only way to God. There is no other name, path, religion, good work, or anything you can do to assure forgiveness and eternal life. Only by trusting in Jesus and allowing him to be Lord(boss) of your life. He is the only way that you will be forever in Heaven with God.
