She found it! She finally found it! After endless trial and error and exhaustive search. Trying every conceivable path with promise. Experiencing unfulfilling and disappointing result after result. Hope upon hope. Desire after desire. One bad relationship after another. She was at her wits end and feeling like giving up. What was the point of trying so hard? What is the true meaning of life? Why am I here? Why is life so hard sometimes?
The Meaning of Life
The true meaning of life was not found in a great career. After all, she lived in a time and place that did not afford that to a woman. She didn’t find it in fame or fortune. Not even traveling the world in her search. She had tried relationships and several marriages, but meaning was not there either. Still she longed for more. There just had to be more. She was unfulfilled and thirsty for meaning and purpose.
So she continued living her normal, mundane life, doing her normal mundane chores. And that is where The True Meaning of Life found her. In the mundane. In the daily ritual. In the ordinary. He came to her and offered her living water so that she would never thirst again. He offers the same to you. His name is Jesus and He came so that you can know eternal life. He offers you the true meaning of life today.
