I’m Kind of Struggling With Everything…Will I be Ok?
First of all, let me assure you that you are not alone. If anyone will be honest with you, you will find that we are all included in the struggles of life. While there is so much joy to be found, it is not always easy to feel joyful. While there is great hope for a wonderful future, it is not always easy to find hope.
And while it may seem that some of the people that you know or follow on social media may seem to have it all together, remember that they, too, have struggles, even if they keep them hidden. We are all frail humans. We all need help sometimes. And we all, every single one of us, need hope. You can read more about finding hope here.
I Need Hope to Know that I Will Be OK
I want to introduce you to our loving God in case you don’t already know him. It is my heart’s desire that you find your hope, your purpose and your answer to your question, “will I be ok?” in the next couple of minutes. Stick with me ok?
This morning I was feeling a bit out of sorts, just because I don’t know what my future holds. I was worried about my future. God says I don’t need to worry. But I am a frail human and sometimes I do. You can read more about not worrying here.
So I opened my Bible, and my sweet and merciful God and Savior had a kind and loving note for me. I want to share it with you. I may not know what my future holds, but I certainly know who holds my future.
I am Going to be OK
This love letter from God is a compilation of the following Bible verses and is found the NIV Worship Bible.
Psalm 147:11, Matthew 6:6, John 16:23-24, 1 John 5:14-15
“Have you ever doubted my heart for you? Is that why you find it hard to ask for My help when you are in such great need? Have faith in your heavenly Father. Know that My promises to you are true.
If you ask of Me, you will receive. Not on your terms, but on Mine. If you seek Me you will find Me. I have promised. I have invited you to come to Me. Now I am awaiting your response.
I long to spend time alone with you, My beloved. Sometimes is it hard for you to be transparent with Me when others are around. So get away somewhere private, in your room or a private garden. And when you come to Me in secret, I will demonstrate My goodness to you before many. They will know my love for you.
If you wonder whether I desire to bless you, think about this. Even evil people know how to give good gifts to their children. So just imagine how much more I not only want to do, but also can do for you, if you will just ask Me. For I am your Heavenly Father, the Lord who delights in those who put their hope in My unfailing love.”
How Do I Know I Will be OK?
I know that I will be ok because I have trusted the promise of God that I will live a meaningful life and be gifted with eternal life in Heaven. Forever, even now, I can bask in the security offered to me through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I have accepted His free gift of salvation. You can have this same gift.
