Is God's grace for me, what is grace, God's love, Grace
good news of jesus

There’s a certain kind of weariness that seeps deeper than the body. It’s not just being tired—it’s feeling drained on the inside, when you’ve done your best but it still doesn’t feel like enough. Maybe you’ve been carrying the weight of something heavy for a long time—grief, anxiety, uncertainty—and you’re wondering how much longer you can hold on. Is God’s grace for me? Here is some encouragement for you today. Enjoy today’s daily devotional.

If you want to put your trust in God, please watch the short Great news video on this page for a clear explanation of how God’s grace is for you.

God’s Grace is Sufficient for You

Scripture for Today:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

Paul knew what that kind of weakness felt like. In his letter to the Corinthians, he spoke honestly about a “thorn in the flesh,” something painful that wouldn’t go away no matter how much he prayed. But instead of removing it, God gave Paul a different kind of answer: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”

That’s not the answer we usually want, is it? We’d prefer the problem gone, the road smooth, the miracle immediate. But God knew what Paul needed most—and what we need most—is not the absence of hardship, but the presence of His grace. His power shines brightest when our strength runs out.

Rest in God’s Strength and Grace

When you’ve reached your limit, that’s when His strength begins. He doesn’t ask you to pretend you’re strong; He invites you to rest in His sufficiency. Imagine standing before Him, empty-handed, saying, “Lord, I can’t.” And hearing Him answer softly, “I know—but I can.”

Every time you take one more step when you want to quit, every moment you choose to trust instead of fear, His power is working through you. You don’t have to muster up courage on your own. You just need to lean on His promise that His grace truly is enough.

Trust in God

Strength for today doesn’t come from having every answer. It comes from trusting that God will meet you in every moment with exactly what you need. One breath, one prayer, one act of faith at a time—that’s how you get through the hard days.

So if you’re weary, pause right here. Take a deep breath. Let His words settle into your heart: “My grace is sufficient for you.” You don’t have to carry the whole load. Just hold His hand and let Him carry you.

Prayer

Lord, I’m tired and sometimes I feel like I can’t do this on my own. Thank You for reminding me that I don’t have to. Your grace is enough. Help me rest in Your strength and let go of the pressure to be perfect. When I’m weak, be strong in me. Amen.

The Prayer of Salvation

Jesus, I don't know You, and I don't know what Your plan is for me. But thank you for coming to die in my place. I'm sorry for anything I've ever done wrong in my life. I don't understand how You could ever forgive me, but if You really would, I would like to accept your free gift of grace and complete forgiveness. Please come into my life and take control, and help me trust You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
