Suzanne Davis

CEO / CHIEF VISIONARY OFFICER

An accomplished writer and published songwriter, Suzanne is an expert at big-picture strategic development. She has served across multiple decades in various capacities for several nonprofits. Being a maximizer who also has the gift of empathy, she is the glue that holds our organization together. Suzanne drives all vision, strategy and direction at Cuurio.

Danny Davis

president / VP CREATIVE

Danny has spent 30+ years in the non-profit space, and thrives in a creative environment. With decades of experience managing huge teams of hundreds of creatives, he is responsible for all creative efforts, both visual and otherwise. He also has a degree in Biology for no apparent reason.

Kim Cline

SECRETARY / VP financial

Kim handles all the financials, payroll, and travel for multiple companies, including Incline, SideStream, Siimpler, several insurance companies, and Cuurio. She is married to Jeff, and is proud of her 3 daughters, one son, and one beautiful granddaughter.

Emmy Rogers

director / VP CONTENT

A 2nd degree black belt in TaeKwonDo and a master in Wing Chun Kung Fu, Emmy has also built multiple social media followings into and past six figures. She handles digital marketing for several companies, teaches TaeKwonDo, and is our unofficial bodyguard.

Jake Davis

director / VP OUTREACH

Jake handles outreach for several companies, both non-profit and for-profit, and is an accomplished musician. He plays drums professionally and is a songwriter with several recording projects under his belt and in the works. He leads Cuurio’s national outreach team.

Jeff Cline

director / chairman

With over twenty years invested in internet and search technology, Jeff operates best at about 10,000 feet. He is a serial entrepreneur, has launched and sold 2 dotcoms, and will soon be selling his third major company. He is married with 4 mostly grown children.

Josh Rogers

director / vp production

Josh is an accomplished professional photographer, videographer and editor, and handles everything video for Cuurio and several other for-profit companies. He is also a former professional soccer player, and is an expert at reaching stuff on high shelves.

Dr. Victoria Smithers, M.D.

Dr. Victoria Smithers, a practicing family physician, graduated with honors from University Of Texas Medical School At Houston in 1996. An inspirational speaker and writer on stress management and myriad other wellness topics, she is a featured speaker at many medical and Christian conferences, retreats, and workshops.

Dr. Chris Liebrum

Dr. Chris Liebrum served the BGCT for over 35 years in the capacity of Director of Cooperative Program until recently accepting the position of VP of External Affairs for Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX. He has also served as the Director of Disaster Recovery for Texas Baptists.

Dr. Wes Hartley

Wes Hartley has served in the non-profit sector for over 30 years. With a Ph.D. in Communications, he loves mission work and serves frequently in Ghana, West Africa. He is also a multi-engine, instrument rated private pilot with 2000+ hours experience, and has authored a book called Systematic Creativity, which is available on Amazon.

Dr. Ed Walker

Ed Walker is director of the Hotel & Hospitality Management and Camp & Recreation Management programs at Dallas Baptist University.  In 2003, he and his wife Sarah founded Sabine Creek Ranch, a Christian camp and retreat center in north Texas, which currently hosts thousands of children, teens, and adults every year.

Mike Oliver

Mike Oliver graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1993 and has been a CPA since 1994. After starting his accounting career in the Dallas office of Deliotte, he then founded his own firm in 1995. Mike has experience in a wide range of industries including real estate, mergers and acquisitions, high net worth individuals, and oil & gas. He and his wife Christy have 2 children.

Pat Walker

With a master’s degree in education, Pat Walker taught elementary school in Garland TX for 15 years, after which she owned and operated Pecan Grove Private Schools for 14 years. A wife to Bob, mother of two and very proud grandmother of four, Pat has a heart for serving others and spreading the Gospel.

Dawn Tomlinson

As Director of Brand, Marketing & Communications for Ernst and Young’s Southwest Region, Dawn is responsible for strengthening EY’s reputation, relationships and revenue through the development and execution of marketing programs, branding, and PR across 13 offices in 9 states.

FINANCE

Chris King is President and CEO of HomeTown Financial Partners, a financial services company. With nearly 30 years experience in the industry, he has helped thousands of clients with wealth preservation and distribution. He and his wife Shereen live in north Texas and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Carter Shotwell

Carter served as the Executive Pastor of Ministries at Lake Pointe Church for almost 25 years. He directed the Adult Ministries at Lake Pointe and oversaw a plethora other ministries. Carter leads numerous conferences at the local, state and national levels and consults many churches around the nation.

Barbara Burton

Community volunteer, mentor, mom and grandmother, Barbara is a retired RN, with 20 years as VP of a global corporation and 9 years as Executive Director developing a medical clinic that provides primary healthcare and spiritual support to the underserved.

Christy Oliver

Christy received a degree in speech therapy and music from Ouachita Baptist University in 1993. She joined her husband’s accounting firm in 2015 after teaching music at Rockwall Heritage Christian Academy in Texas for several years. Christy and her husband Mike have 2 children and enjoy living life in Poetry, Texas.
